The beach, 600 meters away
The white sands of Bourdaines beach reveal themselves at the end of a shaded path through the pine forest, accessible right from the resort. In practical terms: a 10-minute walk, or a 3-minute bike ride. It's wide, supervised, calm, and therefore ideal for families and anyone looking for space rather than crowds.
If you'd rather surf, the other spots are just as accessible by bike:
- Estagnots beach, 2 km away (8 min by bike), is one of the best-known surf spots in Europe.
- Le Penon beach, 2.5 km away, offers consistent waves for all levels.
- Les Casernes beach, 3 km away, is Seignosse's wildest stretch of coast.
- And La Gravière beach in Hossegor (4 km, 20 min by bike) draws in fans of powerful waves.
🌿 For surf lessons, the Oxbow Surf School is based right at Naturéo! Lessons, courses, and high-end equipment rental included (boards, wetsuits)… everything can be booked directly on site.
On-site bike rental
Joe Bike, our partner, is set up right in the heart of the resort. There you can rent classic or electric bikes, mountain bikes, and fatbikes, for both adults and children.
The Naturéo Eco-Resort sits just a hundred meters from the Vélodyssée, the major cycling route that runs along the entire Landes coastline. 20 kilometers of marked paths safely connect you to Hossegor (20 min), Capbreton (10–15 min), and the marine lake.
Like a bit of a thrill? The fatbikes (bikes with XXL wheels) available for rent at Joe Bike let you ride for miles along the sand of the Côte d'Argent. Naturéo also organizes guided group outings at sunrise or sunset, if you'd like to set off together!

Shopping and dining: our Petite Épicerie and La Peña
Feel like cooking tonight? The resort's Petite Épicerie offers seasonal produce, toiletries, and everything you might need day to day during your stay.
If the urge to cook fades, the resort's restaurant, La Peña, takes over. Artisan wood-fired pizzas, tapas, grilled dishes, daily specials made with Southwest French produce… the atmosphere is family-friendly, and the terrace under the trees invites you to linger. And the snack bar offers takeaway dishes for cozy evenings in at your bungalow.

The bus from Naturéo
Would you like to explore more of the Landes without taking your car? A bus stop serving Bayonne and Biarritz is located 500 meters from the resort. It's also handy for a day out in the Basque Country, or for reaching some more distant sites, such as Labenne Zoo, Dax, or Atlantic Park.
